Sean Patrick Thomas and wife Aonika expecting first child; attend Raisin in the Sun premiere

The District‘s Sean Patrick Thomas and Aonika Laurent Thomas are expecting their first child. The 37-year old Save The Last Dance star and his wife attended the premiere of A Raisin in the Sun last evening in Los Angeles, CA. The baby is a girl and Aonika is due on May 14th.

What I want to know is, how did they manage to keep the pregnancy under wraps for so long? With most celebs, pregnancy rumors begin as soon as either the slightest bump is visable or the celeb suddenly starts wearing looser, less form-fitting clothing. I wonder how they managed to escape the “is she or isn’t she” rumors?
