Was she pregnant while “Celebrity Rehab” on VH1 was being taped? Anyone know?

Anonymous on

as sad as it is, i’m not at all surprised.

annonymous on

Why must this even be reported at this time? There is such a negative innuendo here and it’s not our business…let this poor girl heal from her addiction and her current problems.

Lauren on

I dont know what happened, but I know that its probably for the best. I mean she WAS on drugs. God knows what could have gone wrong with a baby born into that situation. She is NOT ready to be a mother. But I do wish her well in her recovery.

Marie on

What a bizarre and callous comment from TMZ. They say it like it’s so casual, as if they were announcing she colored her hair; “Jessica Sierra is no longer a blonde…”

I realize that there’s really no “good” way to put it, but it just seems in bad taste.

Regardless of the how, my thoughts and prayers are with her.

NICOLE on

MISCARRIAGE???????

NIta on

Although this young woman has had problems, she has still suffrered loss, we do not need to know how. I wish her the best in her personal recovery and in life.

Lisa Johnson on

I don’t really think this is the most polite way of announcing this, and I’m praying for her recovery.

I’m just wondering why we’ve had to read these posts about Jessica’s struggles, but there’s never anything about Britney, a much bigger star with much bigger problems.

Sarah’s note: We post about custody decisions nowadays, and that’s it. We learned a long time ago that posts on her do not go over well with readers.

Respectfully, I think I’m going to have to disagree and say that I don’t think the TMZ article is all that bad. Is it our business? No, that I agree on.
But it sounds like someone went to TMZ with this info, its possible Jessica (or her family) wanted the info to be made public. And the article itself is pretty straight forward – it introduces who she is, when the original news was announced and a bit about her public background. Just my opinion, but given today’s environment where we now see celebrity news on CNN, I don’t think the article is bad at all.

How else is CBB supposed to put it? I don’t think they did anything in poor taste or against good journalistic principles. They didn’t even try to speculate. They simply reported the facts(which have been verified by mainstream media).

Jen on

It’s a shame this had to be posted on any gossip site.

Christine on

I don’t get what the big deal about this is?
CBB posts about losses anytime there is one to report. Why is this one any different? What else should they post – they only posted the info given to them…
Sheesh!

I wish her well in her recovery from her addictions and from her loss.

Personally, I think that we are at risk of losing our focus here. This is a site about celebrities and babies…I enjoy this site because it doesn’t follow the route of TMZ or Perez Hilton and spread mean spirited gossip. I just think that this really didn’t need to be mentioned on this particular site. We don’t know what happened, it’s not our business and unless we know the “true” facts it shouldn’t be posted as such. Perez Hilton said the same thing about Pamela Anderson and again we don’t know what the facts are and don’t need to…bring back the cute babies and the pregnant celebrites that we so enjoy seeing.

Sarah’s note: If someone has announced a pregnancy, and then the person loses or ends up choosing not to have the baby and that info is publicly announced, we update the post. Otherwise, we get people in a few months posting comments about, “Hey, wasn’t Jessica Sierra pregnant? Did she have her baby?” etc. I think Angela posted the news clearly and respectfully. Neither Danielle or I have an issue with what she wrote.

Gabriella on

That’s sad, but I wish her well in her future.

CelebBabyLover on

Christine- I think the commentors who said this shouldn’t have been posting were referring to the orginal post on TMZ, NOT this post here on CBB!

kimy on

Why is this any different than what happened with Lily Allen? You didn’t really believe that she had a miscarriage, did you?!

kimy on

To add: This is what happens when drug addicts and alcoholics get pregnant. It’s not always a pleasant outcome.

Chris on

I hope she’s doing ok. Whatever reason behind whatever happened, I don’t care. I hope she’s holding up and dealing with her things in an appropriate way(IE, not turning to drugs & alcohol).
What I don’t understand is when people come on here(or TMZ, wherever the “news” is reported) and complain about this person or that person. They complain that Larry Birkhead lets people photograph Dannielynn, they complain when miscarriages are reported. Yet, they keep coming back to find out what happened to each and every one of these people. You can’t complain when you’re part of the “problem”.

literaldan.blogspot.com on

how sad for her, i wonder what happened

Has on

I really don’t see how this isn’t relevant. She is a celebrity of sorts and she was pregnant. CBB is just updating you that she is no longer going to be having a baby. Without knowing if Jessica had a miscarriage or an abortion, there is no other way for CBB or TMZ to put it. If she had an abortion, they can’t say “She lost the baby” because she didn’t. But they don’t know so they put it as impartially as they could.

Lisa on

I agree with Chris. The fact that a miscarriage took place is very sad and a great loss.

Laura on

No longer pregnant implies abortion, not miscarriage. If it was a loss it would have been reported as such.

Sarah’s note: We don’t know for sure though, that’s what the article is written the way it is. We don’t want to assume either way.

Pogue Mahone on

What exactly does “no longer pregnant” mean? That’s what they said about Pamela Anderson, too….so did she have a miscarriage…or an abortion? The way I see it, it makes a HUGE difference in people’s reactions! If she miscarried, I feel badly for her.If it was the other, I feel sorry for her soul!!

Michelle on

First of all, I sincerely hope this young lady gets the help she needs to beat her addictions. I’m sorry for her loss and if her desire is to be a mother someday, then I hope she gets clean and stays clean.

As for the site posting this, I see nothing wrong with it. This is what the site is about — celebrity babies and pregnancies and yes, unfortunately, sometimes sad news too. It’s not as if there were any speculation written or anything mean and malicious posted. I think this site does a very good job of not being nasty or gossipy.

Chicki on

It’s probably polite to assume she had a miscarriage, but maybe she decided against starting a family right now and had an “A”-word? We may never know…

Mirabel on

I’m not american, so I don’t know the story. What does ‘no longer pregnant’ mean? Has she lost the baby, given birth, had an abortion?

Can someone please explain to me the full story with Jessica Sierra please?

My thoughts are with her if she is going through a difficult time.

Sarah’s note: We don’t know. She either miscarried or had an abortion.

Carrie Jo on

I’m very sorry for her loss. And it was a loss regardless of how it came to be that she is no longer pregnant. I hope she does well with her recovery. It’s not an easy road, but with plenty of support, she can do it.

terri on

I don’t see anything wrong with following up the original announcement with this news. I hope that she gets the help that she needs.

Rebecca on

Having an abortion is not the opposite of losing a baby. Having an abortion, while a choice made and not an accidental loss, is still losing a baby. It is a dark, difficult decision and one which is not easily recovered from. It is not the place of anybody here to judge that decision, if that is what happened here. I wish this young woman a speedy emotional recovery, whatever her situation was.

Nat on

Totally agree with you Rebecca, well said.
