CBB Exclusive: Kerry Lucas welcomes daughter Angelina Belle

We hear that Australian model and tri-athlete Kerry Lucas and her husband, Wes Legrand, welcomed their second child together, a daughter named Angelina Belle, on Saturday, February 9th. She weighed in at 3.67 kg (about 8 lbs, 1 oz) and was born at 6 pm at Calvary Hospital, Adelaide, South Australia.

The birth of the new baby is a new start for Kerry and Wes, who tragically lost their 5-month-old son Leonardo in a drowning accident in December 2006. The loss of Leonardo weighed heavily on Kerry as she announced her second pregnancy.

This is our second pregnancy and my baby boy will always be with us in spirit. He is my little angel and always will be. Being positive about the situation is important for the baby, keeping yourself active and taking care of your body and mind.

Kerry and Wes recently launched the Leonardo Appeal to help children in need.

What great news for this lovely couple after their recent heartbreak. Baby Leo will always be remembered and missed and i hope baby Angelina helps to ‘heal’ her parents hearts.

Angelina Belle, like Angelina Jolie because Jolie and Belle means the same thing in french, it means Beautiful.

she should feel guilty about leonardos death too, she was the one who didnt put the brake on her pram. she stopped to talk on the phone and his pram rolled in the river cause she didnt put the break on.!!!

Congrats to them on their new arrival! And sad that they lost their son. I don’t remember hearing about that when it happened, but how did their baby drown at such a young age?

I was thinking about them recently and wondering how they have made out since Leonardo’s passing. I don’t recall hearing that they were having another child, but I am happy for them. I’m sure Leonardo will be watching over his little sis!

May Angelina bring them peace. She’ll always have an angel watching over her. What a horrific, tragic accident that was. I cried when I first read the news here a few years ago. I was pregnant myself at the time.
