Rain Pryor shows off baby belly

Actress/comedienne Rain Pryor, 38, has shared this new photo of her and partner Yale on her website.  The couple expect their first child — a daughter — in April. Rain, a celebrity baby herself, is the daughter of the late Richard Pryor.

Well, I feel dumb now. When I first read that she and her “partner” were expecting a baby, I assumed she was lesbian. I am not used to the new relationship lingo! ;) ) Congrats to her, one way or another!

Sarah’s note: We wrote it that way because we aren’t sure if Yale is a husband or a boyfriend, lol. Sorry for the confusion.

They look so happy, congrats!

Don’t feel dumb Nicole. I thought the exact same thing. LOL

Congrats to Rain and Yale, they look very happy.

I was confused by that verbage as well lol! But I just assumed he was male, because Yale sounded more like a man’s name. Congrats to them. It funny how they both smile the same. I guess its true what they say, that after a couple has been together for some time they start to look like one another lol!

Wow she looks just like her dad. I saw a biography on richard recently, rain’s mom was blonde with blue eyes.

Could these two look any happier? So adorable!

Good to see her looking so happy. I was a big fan of Richard Pryor. I thought it was a man, but then when I was little gay just meant happy and carefree. I do associate partner with same sex couple’s like some of the other posters. Words and what they mean change and evolve over the years. Will this be Richard Pryor’s first grandchild? (I know he’s passed on but he had a few children and they are all probably old enough to have families)

I am confused! I thought Rain was happily married to Kevin Kindlin. Very sad to know they divorced. He was such a nice guy and very supportive to her.
Anyway, I wish her all the best with hew new baby.
