love these pictures of ben affleck and his beautiful little daughter, violet. in all other pictures i always said that in some she looked like jennifer and in some she looked just like ben. but let me tell you something, in these pictures she is all jennifer. they are such an adorable family and the parents seem to be doing a very good job raising their little dimpled doll.

Wow, I was really hoping that in light of the many recent comments on how the paps constantly stalk this little girl, you guys might lay off posting her pictures for a while. Any comment from the editors on this topic??

I wonder about this poor family. We see pictures of them literally 5-7 days every single week, whether they’re in New York, LA, Boston, Canada, wherever. they seem to handle it very well, but it’s hard, when looking at these pictures, to imagine the scene around them — probably several photographers, shouting at them (no doubt even using the baby’s name)…they just don’t seem to have ANY privacy at all. Violet doesn’t know any different yet, she must think it’s a totally normal part of life, but I wonder, once she gets in school, how she may grow to resent this attention when she sees that her schoolmates can just go out and do whatever they want without having to be fixated on getting from point A to point B to get away from photographers as fast as possible. I do wonder how the press ALWAYS seems to know where they are, every single day, which makes me think they’re literally camped outside the family’s home (or wherever they are at any given time).
I’m not criticizing anyone in particular here (except the paparazzi I guess), just an observation. I see these three more often than I see some of my own family members. They seem to be THE most photographed family in Hollywood and I feel bad for them.

Violet is beyond lucky. She is so adorable and has two parents that are so devoted to her. Even with the paps always following their every outing she seems so well adjusted and carefree. I know we see a lot of her but I cant’t help it I have a need to see her as often as possible. Whether she is with Jen or Ben alone or they are all together, I love it. You might say I have a serious addiction.

I laughed a bit when I saw these pics. You can always tell when dad has Violet, because for some reason she always looks just a bit more disheveled than when mom Jen has her lol! It’s cute tho. And check out those cute little mocassins. The undersides are practically spotless. She better enjoy all the carrying around while she can.

ang- As far as I know, no, they have not. However, Violet is barely 2, so she’s a little young to be going to preschool. Most preschools won’t except children under the age of three (most also require children to be potty-trained, something Violet very may not be given her age).
In any case, I’m guessing that Vi probably DOES have friends her own age. I know that other celeb families have discussed their kids having friends (for example, the Jolie-Pitts are one family that comes to mind. Their kids are friends with Marianne Pearl’s little boy, along with some other celebrity kids. Suri Cruise has playdates with Grier Henchy and a few other celeb kids). As down to earth and “normal” as Ben and Jen seem to be, I’m guessing they arrange playdates for Violet.
Robyn- I understand your comments. While I can’t speak for everyone, I personally enjoy seeing pics of Violet….But also feel bad for her and her parents. I don’t think anyone’s trying to say that we should try to “fix” things for Ben and Jen (other than possibly having CBB post less pics of them). Rather, we are simply saying that we feel bad that it has to be this way.
