Moon and Back Studios: Distinctive, hip stationery

070916_right_vignette2Doesn’t it seem that as soon as you learn that you arepregnant you become a slave to stationery? What with thank you cards, birthannouncements and birthday party invitations it seems that in the first yearalone we spend all our money on paper! I, for one, am always looking for new custom stationerysites because I hate sending out paper goods that look just like the typicalones that everyone else sends out. Recently I discovered Moon and BackStudios, a stationery company dedicated to creating distinctive, hipstationery and gifts.

Moon and Back has the perfect selection of photodesktop calendars, personal notes, announcements and invitations. I love the paper they use and the colors print brightly, which I, personally, always look for. Included free in each order is the photo enhancement process, which makes all your photos look like professional ones (and which customers rave about).

If you are looking for a unique and custom stationery experience, think about choosing Moon and Back Studios for your next event.  Check out their full collection at www.moonandbackstudios.com. Exlcusively for CBB Readers: Enter ccbsave08 at checkout for 10% off your purchase of $50 or more.  Good through February 28th.

Review for Moon and Back Studios

As a design conscious mother of 3-year old special needs twin boys, one of the ways I love to unwind after a hair raising, hectic day is to escape into the world all things beautiful, innovative, and fresh. The whole house can be turned upside down with potty seats in the living room, leg braces strewn about, dishes in the sink, (and God knows where else). Small Paul size 2T and size 3T undies lay casually on the stairs. The boys are finally asleep and my husband is busy studying. I am wearily basking in the glow and hum of my computer, excited to see what is in store for me on my favorite design websites. I go to them to see all of the delicious and tranquil colors and clean and neat designs. I go to find cool light fixtures and funky clothes. I look for good bargains and to fantasize about the crazy unrealistic blow outs that we could never afford. One company that I have come to admire is Moon and Back Studios.

I came across Moon and Back Studios last year during Christmas time when I was frantically looking for that perfect Christmas card. The look that I was going for was the look of a scrapbook feel, a homemade feel, but nothing cheesy or cutesy. I hate cheesy. I wanted clean lines. I spent hours looking through countless sites. I searched through multiple Mom’s blogs and read through multiple reviews. O.k….now let’s real. I didn’t start this hair brained project until December. I stayed up way too late many a night on my computer, lost in the pretty images. I am not perfect.

I finally decided on Moon and Back Studios on the second week of December. Eeek! By this time, I was in a complete state of panic. My one son’s maladaptive behaviors were at an all time high at this time and that was about all that I could handle, let alone Christmas cards. To my surprise and delight, the kind and courteous staff at Moon and Back Studios helped me to narrow down my photo choice, from those taken at Babies R Us. They were patient with me while I obtained the copyrighted version from the studio. (I had previously purchased the CD only.) I had only one day turn around time from the day that I signed off on the proof to the day of mailing. And I received the photos in the mail just two days later in a beautifully packaged box complete with ribbons. I felt as if I was receiving my first Christmas gift, and it was my beautiful baby boys! I quickly typed up our family and friends addresses into a Word mail merge document and printed out mailing labels. The Christmas cards went out within two days. I made my personal deadline of getting my Christmas cards out before the Christmas holiday, and I owe it all to the professional staff at Moon and Back Studios. The end product was absolutely precious and I received phone call after phone call from family and friends thanking me for the card.

This year I have vowed to get an earlier start on the Christmas card venture. Moon and Back Studios bent over backwards to accommodate me when I was in a pinch last year. While I certainly don’t recommend waiting until the last minute as I did, I would definitely recommend Moon and Back Studios. Their look and design is fresh and original, which is tricky in today’s market. The staff are very knowledgeable and accommodating. And the bottom line is that they provided excellent customer service and a superb product.
