Do your kids covet the casual preppy look their teenaged siblings sport from American Eagle Outfitters?  It can soon be theirs!  It was recently announced that the popular chain that targets 15-25 year olds will soon launch a children’s clothing and accessories brand called 77kids by American Eagle for kids 2-10.  The line will launch online this year at www.77kids.com, with inline retail stores popping up in malls across the US in 2009. This seems to be influenced in part by the success of abercrombie kids, the 7-14 year old kid version of Abercrombie & Fitch.

American Eagle currently operates around 850 stores in 50 states,the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, and more than 70 AE stores in Canada, plus ae.com, which ships to more than 40countries around the world.
