Marcia Cross says she'd approve of political careers for twins

While she says she wouldn’t want her daughters to follow in her own footsteps and pursue a career in entertainment, Marcia Cross might feel differently about them entering the world of politics.  The 45-year-old mom to twins Eden and Savannah, 11-months, was in Washington D.C. this week to lobby Congress to pass The Breast Cancer Protection Act.  Although she’s disappointed by the pace being set by our public officials — who have kept various versions of the legislation in limbo for 12 years — Marcia was nonetheless impressed by her visit, which included a private tour of the White House.

I wouldn’t actually want them to go into show business, but politics?  Maybe. Hmm. Senator Mahoney. President Mahoney. If they want to, I’ll be there for them.

Eden and Savannah are Marcia’s first children with husband Tom Mahoney.
