i went to see ani perform at lupo’s in providence on tuesday night. it was my sixth show, but this one was a little different, because one of the best parts was that about 1/2 way through someone (who i’m guessing was her partner mike) walked into the wings of the stage holding baby petah and they danced and swayed and watched the rest of ani’s show. after the encore ani immediately took petah from mike and kissed her and then carried her up the stairs into the green room. it was so nice to see ani so happy. she talked in between songs about how she is trying to write more happy songs and that she is just so happy and in love that it scares her. anyways just thought i’d share.
