Actress Katie Holmes, 29, and daughter Suri go shopping in New York City on Tuesday, January 15th. The pair visited the fashion store Mood. Dad is actor Tom Cruise. Suri will turn 21 months on Friday.

She is a beautiful little girl. It amazes me that at one time it was believed that she didn’t exist, or that she wasn’t Tom and Katie’s biological child. She looks exactly like Katie. Such a very very pretty little girl.

Outdoors with no coat again. Why do people think it is reasonable to wear a winter weight coat and have your child in a knit dress only in 22 degree weather?? They are clearly outdoors, with a truck right behind them.
I know my son hates wearing his winter bundles, be he just has to deal.

Shan- I doubt they were outside for more than about five seconds. They were probably either going into the store or to their waiting limo/cab. As another commentor mentioned on another very recent Suri post (the one of them going out to eat), they probably get picked up and dropped off right at the door, or at least as close to the door as possible.
Considering that it can take awhile to get a toddler bundled up AND Suri seems like the type of kid who doesn’t like wearing a coat, a hat, mittens, etc. (and probably puts up a fuss everytime they try to put them on her), they probably just figure it’s easier not to deal with it when they will be either indoors or in a warm car within a few seconds.

I doubt Suri is cold, her clothing looks layered over knit tights. Besides, it looks like they are dashing quickly from the store to the car. I’m sure there is a driver waiting to drive them off in a nice warm car.

I agree – put a coat on her and put her to bed! Not sure why, but if it was anybody but Suri people would be commenting on the fact that she a. has no coat b. looks exhausted – it’s late! c. and (in other photos from this set) is still using a bottle. In this photo and the others from from more recent posts she just looks tired! I know Mom and Dad have busy lives but they need to slow down at some point for Suri’s sake. Babies aren’t cut out for jet-setting. (I know people are going to be mad but just imagine this was some other child. And yes, it’s nice that they always have her with them and no nanny and so forth and so on but still – they need to revolve around her life, not throw her into theirs ALL the time. End of rant. Be kind.)

My question is… why do you want a haircut that matches your daughter’s? Also, this haircut is made way too big a deal out of. It’s has been worn by children for ages and suddenly Suri has it so it’s a big deal. I’m all for letting a child be a child. I hate when parents try to make their children look like little adults. Also I don’t care if they were only outside for two seconds, the child needs a hat on her head if it is cold outside!
