whoa. i love drea, but i can’t believe that she has a nanny and a nurse with her at dinner when her husband, best friend, and both of her parents are present! not to mention the former nanny of her husband. i don’t know, that seems a bit high maintenance. not to mention the fact that if it were my mom, she just elbow her way by the nannies and nurses to get to her grandchild! ha! it seems that her support system is large enough to accommodate one little baby without needing the extra help (at dinner at least!).

Sarah’s note: I got the feeling that Drea and Shooter’s childhood nannies were there as family friends, because it was Shooter’s big late night appearance, and the nurse was the one there for Alabama, but I could be wrong!

Ah.. My favorite celebrity baby! She is so cute! I think I can see a bit of Jessi in here :) It’s very nice to finally see a picture of Alabama! Shooter looks like a good dad. I wish them all the best!

I think it’s sweet that the nannies who helped raise them are considered part of the family.

I’ve read that Drea is from a rich family and that her nanny was with her more than her parents were.

Sounds like everyone involved is totally in love with the baby – that’s adorable.

Alabama is adorable! I’ve been a big fan of Drea’s for years. I agree with Sarah, Drea has talked before about how close she still is to her nanny – I think they were there as family friends.

Oh, she’s so cute! That baby girl is going to have a ton of hair on her head soon!

Angela, I remember Drea stating in several interviews over the years that she views her childhood nanny as her grandmother and that the woman, who is now ill, still lives with her to this day. Drea stated that she takes care of the woman as a family member. So, I believe the other reply to you is correct. As far as Shooter, he’s a southern guy from Nashville. Being a Nashvillian myself, I can say that it’s not uncommon for people to consider childhood nannies, babysitters, etc. a part of their family later in life. Drea stated that she spent more time with her nanny growing up than her parents, and sometimes felt lonely, so I’m sure she wouldn’t want that for her own child. She has always appeared to be one of the most down-to-Earth celebrities out there.

@asm.

I read the same thing about her nanny. Drea seems like an overwhelmingly decent person!!

She is a cuttie.
Drea come from Queens originally.. I don t think she was a rich girl, just normal.. And she said that she spend her time in queens with her grandmother.
Anymay she is so down to earth, humble and she don t give a fuck about superficial things.
She talk about her nanny realy often, and she always says that she is a member of her family(she have her name tattooed on the arm.) and yes she take care of her now “like she take care of me when nobody wants me” as she had said in an interview. It’s the woman who raised her.
Drea is amazing, brilliant and beautiful actress with an awesome personality. She is my fav!
