James Marsden is Cyclops to his son

X-Men actor James Marsden, 34, revealed that his son Jack Holden, 7 next month, has grown up seeing him as Cyclops in X-Men so it took some adjustment to see him as a prince in Enchanted.

He’s grown up with me being in the X-Men movies, and he loves his Cyclops action figure, so it took him a little while to adjust to me being a prince. He thought the chipmunk in the movie was way cooler. That’s the way he keeps me grounded.

It was a little more difficult explaining Jack about his profession.

I worried a little about him watching his father play a prince who’s chasing after this woman Amy Adams, who’s not his mom. I sort of had to tell him it’s pretend and what I do for a living. He just kind of nodded his head, but I think he got the message.

James has been married to Days Of Our Lives Lisa Linde, 35, since 2000 and they also have daughter Mary James, 2.

I absolutely adore James Marsden! I LOVED him in Enchanted (as well as The Notebook and Hairspray) and cannot wait to see 27 Dresses on Friday.
