I read that one of the twins needed a ct scan. What did the baby have a ct scan of and why?

Beatrice: The fact is, the older a woman is, the more likely she is to have multiples! If you do a search online, you’ll find that I’m right. Here’s something that I found online: “Older mothers are more likely to conceive twins than their younger counterparts. It’s thought that the body accelerates ovulation as the biological clock starts ticking faster. Seventeen percent of mothers over age 45 have multiples. Wait five more years and the odds rise to one in nine!”

interesting story, I am 48 years old with a 36 year old fiance and I presently have a 10 year old daughter. just over two years ago i suffered a severe pulmonary embolism in intensive care for a month and i am on long term blood thinners and a heart pill, I gained a lot of weight due to being inactive as a result of the broken leg and ankle, which caused my blood clots that went into my lungs causing a saddle embolus. I am wanting to have another child but I know its hard to even contemplate due to my serious health issues but as we are all guilty off, I wish I could erase what happened to me so I could have a second chance at motherhood with my fiance however I know he would never want me to do anything to risk my health and thats the true sign of love when we realize that our dreams are put on hold for necessity rather than to live in a fantasy shame at times life hands us these cards we just have to play them the way we can

I am very happy for you and David. The children are beautiful. Also glad they are healthy. My husband is a twin and they also were 7 mo babies but turned out to be a-okay.
As far as fertility treatment that is NO ONE’S BUSINESS.
