Little Big Town's Phillip Sweet and wife welcome a daughter; introducing Penelopi Jane

Little Big Town’s Phillip Sweet, 33, is a new dad after his wife, Rebecca, gave birth to daughter Penelopi Jane Sweet on Thursday, December 27th at 5:47 p.m. in Nashville, Tennessee.  She weighed 6 lbs, 4 oz, and was 19 inches long.  It is being reported that she was born with a head full of curly brown hair.  The new dad released the following statement,

We never knew we could love someone so much. We are truly blessed!

The couple announced their pregnancy in June. Penelopi is their first child.

Penelopi is the cutest little thing and I love how they spelled her name. Congrats to Phillip and Rebecca! Phillip is the sweetest person you’ll ever meet so I’m sure he’s a great daddy!
