A day of fun was in store for actress Jennifer Garner, 35, and daughter Violet Anne, 2, as the pair visited Central Park in New York City today. Dad is actor Ben Affleck.

Ok so how do you look at these pictures and not melt? I mean seriously I fall more in love with this family and this GIRL every single minute…that SMILE and just how freakin happy and well adjusted she seems–it melts my heart and I just can’t help but SMILE…Ben and Jen are raising themselves one amazing little girl and they should all the kudos for that…that GRIN in that second picture says it all…she’s so freakin gorgeous–I can never see enough of this little one…

I has the same thought as the last poster…where is Ben? He has not been seen with them in a while. He may be shooting a movie somewhere else, but you would think he’s be around during the holidays. Maybe he’s just home watching sports? Has anyone seen the family together in a while?

Thanks Sarah for mentioning that Ben has been with them. I’ve read on many internet blogs not the gossip blogs but just regular people blogging about being in New York and a few times people have mentioned seeing this family at a restaurant or walking down the street in New York. They are very discreet when they go out together, if they see paps around they separate. Just because you don’t see Ben doesn’t mean he is not around, he’s just not going to allow the paps to get that “money shot”.

It’s odd how it seems Ben is more protective of his daughter than Jen is. Wonder why she doesn’t mind the paps taking her daughter’s pics? Oh yeah, so Jen can get some publicity lol!

I really respect this site for not showing those photos. Ben does hide his face and Violet’s when he spots the paps. Just because we see these super sweet pictures of Jen and Violet a few times a week doesn’t mean Ben isn’t around.
People forget Jen is in New York to work. I’m sure Ben is the one taking care of Violet in the evenings. There is Play time, Dinner, Bath, and Bed time in the evenings. I’m sure Ben is spending some quality time with his little girl.

It is no secret that Ben resents the paps taking pics of him with his family. He wants that time private (not for human consumption). It goes back to the days of all the lies and stories about his private life being plastered all over the tabloids. It is unfortunate for him but he has a lovely wife and daughter that fans adore and hence the paps try to get those shots. A lot of fans want shots of him with his family as well. I wish he could handle the attention better.(it goes hand and hand with the business he is in). Anyway, Jen and Violet are a sight for sore eyes considering some of the other stuff making headlines these day.
