Update: Amanda Peet explains Frankie's nursery decor

Originally posted November 29th: Although a framed poster of Barbra Streisand in Funny Girl might seem an odd choice for a baby’s nursery, for actress Amanda Peet, 35, it makes perfect sense.  In the new issue of Domino, Amanda says that she and husband David Benioff chose the artwork while she was still pregnant with their daughter, Frances ‘Frankie’ Pen, 9-months.

When I was a kid, I got very scared at night, so I obsessed over how to make Frankie’s room cheerful.

I love the movie ‘Funny Girl.’[Barbra] Streisand’s character is so silly — a true original. When David and I were making New Year’s wishes, we said, ‘Please, God, make our baby silly.’

Frankie is the first child for the couple, who were married in 2006.
