American Idol finalist Jessica Sierra pregnant

TMZ is reporting that former American Idol Season 4 finalist Jessica Sierra is reportedly expecting her first child.

Sources say that the 22-year-old singer, who is currently in jail for violating her parole, is ecstatic about the news and is pregnant by "a rapper".

Hasn’t she been arrested twice in the last few weeks for drunken bar fights?

Sarah’s note: Yes, for charges of disorderly intoxication and resisting arrest. In November she was sentenced to 12 months probation for a previous charge of battery (she threw a cocktail glass at a man and cut his face) and cocaine possession.

Weren’t we all totally shocked when NIcole Richie announced she was pregnant (or when the rumors started)? I think if this is true, it is an excellent oppurtunity for Jessica to get it together. Pregnancy can change a lot of people for the better. Here’s to hoping that Jessica is one of them!

WOW-
Seems to me that just a few very short weeks ago, I saw a clip of her, very intoxicated inside a police station acting out of control. I certainly hope that perhaps jail will help her clean up her act, for herself, and for her unborn baby. I also hope that the unborn baby is okay due to the fact that she had alcohol in her system when she might’ve been pregnant. I wish her only the best.
