Colin Farrell looking forward to spending holidays with James

In October, actor Colin Farrell, 31, revealed that his 4-year-old son James suffers from Angelman Syndrome — a rare genetic disorder that causes developmental delays and neurological problems — but that his son had recently taken his first steps.

Now, Colin says that James is making even more progress — and his dad couldn’t be more proud.  Telling People that James is doing "good," Colin stressed that Angelman Syndrome is a disorder and "not a disease."  As for the holidays, Colin said that "all the family will be together."

What are we going to do? Nothing. The usual – watch movies, eat food … take it easy.

James is Colin’s child with ex-girlfriend Kim Bordenave.

Dad Said It

"Harper was a name that we've loved for a long time for a couple of reasons. Harper is an old English name, and Victoria's favorite book is To Kill a Mockingbird."
