Michael Muhney and wife welcome daughter Ella

Actor Michael Muhney, best known for his role as Sheriff Don Lamb on the television show Veronica Mars, and his wife Jamie welcomed their first child together– a daughter — on Tuesday, December 18th.  The 32-year-old actor posted to his fans,

Ella Michael Muhney was born today at 10:02 a.m. at Cedars Sinai. She is 6 pounds 15 ounces. She is 19 ½ inches long. She has dark brown hair.

She is already grounded from dating until she’s 46. She is also not allowed to go into acting, she has to do something much more productive than her father.

Today just happens to be my grandfather’s birthday (77 and the oldest living Muhney) and Ella is now the youngest Muhney. Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jamie also has a son from a previous relationship that she and Michael raise together.

Fun! My own community (Rack of Lamb) meets one of my favorite blogs of late. I didn’t even think to submit this here, but I’m glad someone else did.

Slight nitpick, though–it’s their first child together, but Jaime has a son from a previous relationship that they have raised together.

Congrats to Michael! I’m so excited for him. He’s such a great guy.
