Jason Gerhardt welcomes second child, son Hudson Lee

General Hospital actor Jason Gerhardt, 33, and his wife Chalae welcomed their second child on Friday, December 7th. Son Hudson Lee weighed in at 8 lbs, 14 oz, and joins big sister Madysen, 2 ½. Says Jason,

Even big sister Madysen likes him…most of the time.

The couple had announced the pregnancy in July. In November, Jason remarked that,

I’m so excited. Chalae’s feeling great, but she’s so ready to get that baby out. She’s practically jumping up and down trying to get him to come out.

That’s kinda interesting… two GH actors having baby boys on the same day and both are named Hudson. :-)

Wait…Both Jason Gerhardt and Chad Brannon were/are on General Hospital and they both just had a son named Hudson? What are the odds?

- legemc on

legemc: Yes, they are/were GH actors. Jason Gerhardt is currently playing Cooper Barrett, and Chad Brannon was Zander Smith.

It’s definitely a small world that both Jason and Chad welcomed sons named Hudson. I love Jason on GH! Congratulations to him, his wife, and big sister Madysen! :-)

The 2 babies were not born on the same day…Chad Brannon’s baby was born on December 19th, but Jason Gerhardt’s baby was born December 7th…they were just both posted on this site the same day.

Funny how they both have the same name though :)

Congrats to Jason and Chalae on baby boy Hudson! Oh, and big sis Madysen too. ;)
