Campbell Brown welcomes son Eli James Senor

Former weekend Today show anchor Campbell Brown, 39, and her husband, Fox News analyst Dan Senor, 36, have welcomed a son. Eli James was born today at exactly 10 a.m. and weighed 8 pounds. He was named in honor of his grandfather James Senor.

The new dad reports,

Eli and his mom are doing great. We are thrilled.

Eli was a week early — Campbell’s due date had been Christmas day.

The couple had announced the pregnancy in June, with Campbell doing the cover of Pregnancy this month. Campbell now works for CNN.

I love the name, Eli James is very cool without being trendy or made up.

10:00 am & 8 pounds on the 18th? That’s interesting, was it a schedule section or just something really flukey and cool?

Congratulations Campbell! I adore her and so wanted her to have Katie Couric’s position on the Today show but I am SO thrilled for her new CNN show!
I love the name Eli, but for a nickname for Elijah, not on its own.

Congratulations to them. As far as names, I am fine with parents nameing their child according to their preference. They do not need to give us an explanation

Congrats Cambell!

I watched the today show on weekends, because of you and was sorry to see you leave! They still have not found a replacement worth tuning in to watch. Bless all of you!

We had a son on Dec 28th and named him Eli Scott… but were originally going to go with Eli James. Fabulous choice in names! :0)
