Jessica Alba goes house-hunting

Actress Jessica Alba, 26, went house hunting in Beverly Hills on Friday with her team of Realtors. On Wednesday, Jessica announced she is expecting her first child with boyfriend Cash Warren, 28, due in late spring/early summer.

I think she is probably due around june. She isn’t showing yet, had she not annouced it, she could have hide it for a bit longer.

You know I didn’t realize this till I became pregnant myself, but many women won’t show noticeably till they’re nearly halfway through the pregnancy. So she could still be 4 or even 5 months pregnant and not “look it.” I have one friend who didn’t show till 6 months.

I think she’s probably due late May or early June. That would fit into the time frame the rep gave.

I’m still blown away that Jessica Alba is expecting! I think this is the most shocking mom-to-be news of the year! I’m also surprised that they decided to announce the news, especially considering she doesn’t appear to be showing and there didn’t appear to be any media rumours circulating of a suspected pregnancy.

My jaw kinda dropped when I heard that her and Cash were having baby. She never struck me as the maternal sort. When my cousin was pregnant, and going into her third trimester she looked as though she was only 4 or 5 months. Everyone is different.

I think Jessica wanted to avoid the speculation that followed J-Lo and Naomi and Christina and the rest of the celeb moms who tried to keep it quiet. She would have been hounded at every doctor appointment. Of course, now she is being hounded by photogs who want to see her bump or catch her doing something like drinking a Starbucks or standing within 5 feet of a smoker. You really can’t win. I think she’s just hoping that the hub-hub will die down by the time she starts to show. Each person makes their own decision, and since Jessica is in such good shape there would have been so much speculation if she gained one pound. It would be nice if they could keep it a secret, but sometimes it’s better to just come out with it well in advance. Of course, this is only speculation, but it makes sense to me, anyway!
