It’s not pronounced quite like the English feminine Renee.

It’s written René-Charles and the first ‘e’ is almost pronounced like an ‘a’ as in ‘atonement’ for instance. The ‘é’ is not long like Renee, but much shorter. And the ‘R’ is more guttural.

Charles is pronounced like Shaarl. The ‘s’ at the end is silent.

Does anyone know how Rene’s name is pronunced? It seems to me like it should be pronounced like the girl’s name Renee, which is a bit confusing to me.

I real cant believe Rene-Charles is 7 already! It seems like yesterday Celine was in People Magazine showing off her new little guy. Time really does fly. Anyway, I am glad she gets to enjoy being a mommy now.

This show was wonderful, I saw it in 2005. I, too, can’t believe how much time has passed, and so quickly.
This show was a huge bit of class for Las Vegas, changed a lot of peoples’ ideas about Las Vegas shows. It made history.
They should all be very, very proud. She is class all the way, and a true Pro.
