Co-stars give rave reviews for Nicolas Cage as a father

Watching Nicolas Cage and his 2-year-old son Kal-El interact on the set of Nicolas’ new movie National Treasure 2:  Book of Secrets was a delight, co-star Diane Kruger says.  Says Diane,

He’s just the best with his kid.  He’s the cutest. I don’t know if you’ve seen him, but he’s the cutest little boy.

Nicolas’ other co-star, 12-year-old Billy Unger, agrees that Nicolas is a natural with kids.

He’s playful.  We had lunch at Universal, and he agreed with me that the cheeseburgers were good.

As for Kal-El and his mom — Nicolas’ wife of three years Alice Kim – Nicolas said that he was anxious to wrap up promoting the film so he could join his family in England for the holidays.

They’re out there … now, waiting for me to get home.  As soon as I’m done here tomorrow, I’m going back there to have my holiday.

Kal-El is the first child for the couple; Nicolas, turning 44 next month, also has a son Weston, turning 17 later this month, from a previous relationship.
