Major League pitcher Joe Kennedy, 28, died suddenly while visiting his in-laws on November 23 in Florida.

According to reports, cause of death has not been determined yet, but Joe’s agent Damon Lapa has said that the sudden nature of the death makes brain aneurysm or heart attack a possibility.

That is so sad. It makes you really think of the family and especially how hard it is for Jamie. Oh man and for the kid and his new kid, they will never know their dad. And also it is so close to Christmas. My prays go out to his family and anyone else that has lost someone this year!
God Bless You

My sympathy goes out to his family at this time. This news hits especially close to home for me. I had a brain aneurysm rupture while giving birth to my last child. The doctors gave my husband and family no hope for me. I was in a coma for three days and woke up. I spent two months in the hospital and walked out of there on my own with some memory loss and need to relearn some things. My doctors said there was no medical science to explain how I lived through something like that, for people usually just die suddenly or live a few hours or days before dying. I give credit to God and am thankful for the many, many prayers that were said for me. My mother shared with me how awful it was to be told her daughter would most likely die. Just hearing it from her perspective was very hard for me. My heart goes out to this family for their loss and they will certainly be in my prayers.

It’s so sad and it’s already the second time this year that something like thta happens I wish Jami and her family get all the strength they need during these difficult times.

Oh my, this is SO sad! I don’t follow sports, but to be so young and have such a new family…. Wow…. there really aren’t words.

And PINKROSES, I am SO happy that you were able to make it through your horrible situation! It just wasn’t your time to leave this earth, and I’m very glad your family is able to spend this Christmas with you!
