Ang, I don’t understand what the problem with it is. Josselyn is basically 3 months old and she’s at the launch of a children’s magazine that Jenny McCarthy and Joely Fisher also brought their kids to.
At that age, if a baby is good-tempered, they are very portable as they mostly just nurse and sleep. I’m sure now that DWTS is over, Samantha brings Josselyn with her places like any other mom would. I fail to see the issue?

I don’t think ang meant the baby shouldn’t be out. I understood that she should not be under the lights of the arrival carpet and cameras. The other kids you mentioned are older.
I agree with ang and think the baby could have attended the event, but not had the pics taken. I don’t like when actors use their kids for publicity and attention.

Joely’s younger daughter is 1 year old, if I remember correctly, which I still consider pretty little.
I don’t see a problem with it. I’d rather see a baby that little being held and involved with mom and her events rather than left at home or stuck in a carseat.

Pam and Campbell- ITA! I just don’t get why some people seem to think that whenever a celeb has their kids with them (okay, I know that’s exaggerating, but still), it must be because they want publicity and attention.
For one thing, it’s not like Samantha was necessarily going, “Oh, take a picture of me with my baby, take a picture of me with my baby!” I am guessing that it was probably the paps that asked her to pose for the picture.
Also, as another poster mentioned, Jenny McCarthy and Joely Fisher brought their kids to the same event…and posed for pictures with them. Yet nobody accused them of using their kids for publicity and attention!
I also want to mention that if Samantha hadn’t brought Josselyn with her, then people would probably complain about her leaving her one month old at home. I have said this before, and I will say it again…Some celebs just can’t win, no matter what they do or say!
