Henry Samuel spotted in Beverly Hills with nanny

Heidi_klum_mr_fp_173131cbbjpg_2CBB reader Amanda spotted Heidi Klum, 34, and Seal‘s, 44, older son Henry, 2, at a Presbyterian Church in L.A. with his nanny. She writes,

Just wanted to say I spotted Henry Klum and his nanny at a "Mommy and Me" class at Beverly Hills Presbyterian Church. That child is absolutely gorgeous in person! I know this isn’t news but I wanted to say that his photos don’t do him justice — he’s just delicious!

I think in Hollywood they should change the name of the class to “Nanny and Me”

aw, i bet her is.
in the past, i have been really jealous of stars like heidi, who can have as many kids as they like, as quick as they want them… but to hear that a nanny is taking her child to a Mommy & Me class reminds me that just because she has the kids, doesn’t mean she gets to spend as much time as she wants with them. So, i feel content and proud with what i have.
(hope this doesn’t come across as negative!!)

How can she be sure it was really Henry? I know that if I’d see Shiloh, Suri or one of Heidi’s kids I wouldn’t be sure if they weren’t with one of their parents. Maybe it was a look-a-like ;)

Didi I agree, the class should be called nanny and me if henry is going with his nanny lol. I’m sure those kids are close to the nannies, you aways see at least 2-3 nannies with them.

miranda- this sighting was by me and i can say with 99% certainty it was in fact henry and his nanny – my sister teaches at the private school that heidi and seal’s kids attend and i’ve seen all of the family and their nannies several times (i recognized the nanny before i even saw henry) anyway, hope that helps.

Why is his nanny taking him to a ‘Mommy and Me’ class?

Sarah’s note: When I was nannying, I took the kids to various classes to break up the day, including Mommy & me. Their parents worked full-time and didn’t want them in daycare.

Omg!! Here we go again! Why can’t people get over the face that she has nannies, has a career and yet still manages to be a extremely hands on mom!! So what if the nanny took Henry to a class. Its not like she does it all the time. CBB actually posted pics of Heidi taking Henry to the exact class the nanny took him. Where Henry was in his Halloween costume Heidi holding Henry’s Hand and big pumpkin in the other hand. I would be different if she was throwing her kids on the nanny/nannies and they did everything. But she not she has a Career and Thats prob why the nanny had to take Henry. Not out shopping or doing some things like that like some other ridiculous celebrity parents do. She is one of or the only celebrity parent I see with her so much wither if is with the nanny/nannies the Heidi is still present and still VERY hands on!! :) So get over!!!

“my sister teaches at the private school that heidi and seal’s kids attend”

Leni and Johan attend as well? :)

Some people around here just judge without knowing all the facts. Maybe they had the nanny take Henry to the class because they wanted some alone time or maybe something came up with one of the other two kids that needed attention and they wanted to make sure Henry was taken care of.It makes me wonder why people come around here just to complain about celebrity parents….

Isn’t the boys’ last name Samuels? Like their daddy…

Sarah’s note: Yes, their name is Samuel like their dad. His last name is not Samuels.

I feel that for once Heidi and Seal used their nanny they way I think is great..when there not present. No matter if your working or off shopping because she’d have the nannies there either way. I feel that nannies are suppose to care for them when you can’t, not when your standing right there and the nannies are still there and doing things. But that’s my opinion and I hope I don’t sound negative. :)

wow – never did i think my little sighting would have everyone up in arms… i never meant to imply anything negative about the klum-samuel family other than that i saw henry and the nanny. and yes, zoe, my sister teaches where leni attends. also, from the “LA parent grapevine” all i have ever heard about heidi as a mother (also coming from my sister) is that she is a great, involved, caring mom. working and having a nanny doesn’t change that. she seems to have her priorities straight.

- amanda on

Thanks!! Thats awesome just as I thought!! Is you sister Leni’s teacher and any insights about Leni?

- Zoe on

some people have the privilege of nannies but that doesn’t mean they aren’t good parents. Also, many parents don’t want to spend every moment of the day with their children, it’s not mean just life. Heidi is wealthy, she could spend as much time as she wanted with them but adults have needs that child can’t meet so it’s good that her nanny can take the baby to this class. It’s also great that there is someone who cares so much for him in addition to mommy and daddy :)

Thanks for sharing the info Amanda!

I attend a mommy and me class with my son and there are tons of nannies there with kids who aren’t rich. I feel lucky I can afford to stay home with my toddler, but I know many people can not. Heidi can afford to have her life in a way that works for her. Maybe she doesn’t care about the classes as much, but is always there for dinner and bedtime? She has to do her work sometime – she has a lot of projects going on.

I was wondering–has Leni’s last name been changed to Samuel yet? I would imagine that Seal is either pursuing (or has already done) a legal adoption of Leni, but they never really comment on Leni’s bio dad giving up his parental rights, so who knows?

I have to admit that this article made me a little uncomfortable. Its one thing when these celebrity kids are with their parents but when the parents aren’t around I think they should be left alone and their whereabouts not reported. I’ve probably created an artificial limit for myself but there should be lines drawn and that’s where my line is.
