Status Quo's Rick Parfitt to become a father for third time

English rock band Status Quo’s singer and guitarist Rick Parfitt, 59, and his wife Lyndsay Whitburn, 47, are expecting twins together with the help of invitro fertilization (IVF). Spokesperson for the couple, who married in August 2006, said,

Rick and Lyndsay are absolutely delighted. It’s something they really wanted and is the icing on the cake for their future life together.

Rick has son Richard, 29, with ex-wife Maritta Boeker and son Harry, 18, with ex-wife Patty.
