Singer Claude Dubois and Crystal Miller welcome daughter Melody Cléa

French-Canadian singer Claude Dubois, 60, and his girlfriend, Crystal Miller, 24, welcomed their first child together on October 1st and named her Melody Cléa. Melody was born at 8:00 a.m. and weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces. Crystal chose Melody’s name: ‘Melody’ was selected for music, as a tribute to Claude and ‘Cléa’ because they liked the way it sounded.

Melody joins Claude’s adult son from a previous marriage as well as Crystal’s son, William, 7. Claude began his career at the age of 12 with country band Les Montagnards and went on to perform around the world.

1 of my friends is 25 with her first child, a 9wk old girl. her boyf(the baby’s daddy) is almost 50 and is divorced with a 14yo and a 17yo with his ex. hope the age gap doesn’t get to be an issue for them. congrats to these too. i like crystal but crea is unusual-is it cree-ah or cray-ah?
