Vanessa Minnillo plans to have kids by 30

244minnillovanessaEverything is good between Vanessa Minnillo, 27, and boyfriend Nick Lachey, 34, but kids have to wait a few more years even though Vanessa wouldn’t mind right now.

I thought I’d have kids by 21. I thought I’d have three by the age of 25. Everybody says to wait until you’re 30 to have kids because they become your life. Now we have so much time together. I’ve learned to work and play when I can, because trust me, I plan to settle down, get married and have kids.

They’re still together? Wow!

28 is a good age to get the first kid.
I guess Vanessa planed this very long ago.

I’m glad she has waited because they do become yout life. Nick Lachey seems like an extremely fine person, family wise to settle down with. I wish them the best of luck.

Totally agree with you Kirsten. Nick has always been a class act and she is one lucky lady. It’s nice to see he’s found somebody who wants the same things.

I was always desperate for children, and had my first baby at age 30, because my husband refused to do it before then. You know what? He was right! We both traveled the world and had full lives before the baby, but I still (in retrospect) sometimes feel like I could’ve used more me time. I think 30 is a good compromise, agewise, because you have time to yourself before, but you still have lots of time to do fertility treatments if you have any problems conceiving. The only problem is that not everybody is lucky enough to meet the right person then.
