Shooter Jennings on Alabama: 'Boy is she cute!'

Rocker Shooter Jennings, 28, is bowled over by parenthood, according to a new blog on his website. He and actress Drea de Matteo, 35, welcomed daughter Alabama Gypsyrose one week ago. He writes,

Hey guys! It’s good to be back, it’s been a monster of a week, but little Alabama Gypsyrose Jennings has arrived, and boy is she cute! So me and Drea are pretty much homebound, besides your occasional outing, taking care of this little human!

Thanks for all the kind words, we are without words! I never knew what to expect, but now I see why everyone says it’s the best thing that can ever happen to you…

Thats such an interesting name… When I hear “Gypsyrose” I think of Gypsy Rose Lee. My musical theatre teacher got excited when he heard. I’m sure the baby IS cute!
