Actress Melissa Joan Hart, 31, leaves MTV’s TRL today following an appearance to promote her new movie Holiday in Handcuffs. Melissa and her husband, Course of Nature’s Mark Wilkerson, expect their second child in early March.  The couple is already parents to son Mason, 22 months.

Is she still writing a blog for CBB? I haven’t seen it. It looks like she’s already put on a lot of baby weight since she’s not due until March. (Might also be the camera angles.) I understand each pregnancy is different and I’m wondering her docs thoughts which she might share in the blog. BTW, I think she’s having a girl.

Sarah’s note: Yes, she is. If you scroll down the page to photos of the family from the other day, there’s a link there, or you can use the pull-down category menus on the side and select ‘MJH’s pregnancy journal.’ She’s writing a new one for next week. I think it must be the camera angles on these photos or the coat because in the pics from the other day and in the photos she sent us she still looks as though she’s just mostly belly. She had said she was trying to keep her weight down for this pregnancy and I had thought it looked like she was — to me, she looks much different with this baby at close to 7 months than she did with Mason. JMO though.

I thought the same thing, Alexa. But then I thought that maybe she developed gestational diabetes or has a blood pressure issue or something. You can tell it’s not just belly b/c of her puffy face. She still looks beautiful though. It’s kind of nice having a celebrity who’s just normal!!!

I think she looks like she’s mostly belly too. Maybe a little in her chin, but like Sarah said, she looks much smaller than she was at this point in her pregnancy with Mason.

I really love that dress.

you also have to remember that melissa is a tiny little woman! :) isla fisher seemed to look a little chunky when she carried, but right after she had the baby she looked like her tiny self again, just as melissa did with mason. i think the weight just holds differently on petite women? (thoughts?)

Cute dress, but I think it’s the tights together with the camera angle that make the picture not so flattering. Plus, the camera adds weight. Either way, she looks great and Mason is sure adorable.

Could she possibly be more stylish and adorable?! Looking fantastic Melissa!

I think she tends to get big with both her pregnancies, she looks very similiar to me like when she carried Mason. I think she is having anther boy.

She tends to carry big when she is pregnant, because she looks about same size as nicole and christina who are due soon. She looks similar to the way she carried Mason, I think she is having anther boy,

It’s nice to see a celeb who gains baby weight someplace other than her belly. I know a lot of people who carried in their belly and face only, and they all had girls…just sayin’.

I think she looks big, but she bounced right back after Mason. I agree with the other posters here: it’s just the way she carries it. I ballooned and looked positively huge by my 6th month. But it was mostly water retention (my baby was average and two weeks after birth I was 5 pounds from my prebaby weight). Sadly, I never looked as fabulous as Melissa!
