Brooke Burke's less-than-glamorous mommy moment

12/03/2007 at 01:10 PM ET

Actress Brooke Burke, 36, is penning a new blog on her Baboosh Baby store’s website. Friday’s entry described one of the less glamorous aspects of motherhood that we’re all familiar with!

I wanted to share one of my less joyful, but hilarious memories with you.  This is a shot from my last 4th of July party with baby Rain.  Thank God it was amongst friends!!!

I never thought being puked on could be so funny, but when David and I found humor in that moment, we knew it was all going to be okay.  It was the first time David saw anything like it, but as we all know, it wouldn’’t be the last.

Picture_1Baboosh Baby, Brooke Burke’s new line of post-partum belly wraps, stretch-mark oils, organic t-shirts and recycled diaper bags, is named after the French term of endearment and is also Rain’s nickname. For more info, check out BabooshBaby.com.

I love brooke, not only is she so pretty but her kids and bf are adorable, and I’m loving her new site. Definitely a site I will be visiting, because if anybody would know how to look good after kids it’s definitely brooke. Rain is such a pretty baby, and I really love the belly wraps and stretch mark oils on the site.

I haven’t experienced the throwing up part, but one the funniest moments I can remember was when my niece was waking up from her nap and sitting on my lap she peed ALL OVER ME!

I was mortified! Hahaaa!

Definitely not a comfortable experience, but at least I’m sorta prepared for when I have my own children!

Oh yeah, been there done that as well. Only it was my breastmilk, on my father’s chin. Talk about awkward.

I’ve always loved Brooke but this makes me like her more! Her expression is priceless! Kudos to her for being brave enough to share an embarrassing photograph. It shows that all mothers are alike, whether they’re famous or not.

Haha! The first day I brought my oldest home from the hospital I was feeding her a bottle on the couch. I had just burped her and “put her back down” then was preparing to put the bottle back in her mouth. Before I could get it there, she threw up all over me. I was drenched from the top of my head down to my lap. I burst out laughing, knowing I must look a sight. My sister just sat there looking mortified. (She is expecting her first any day now.)

Hopefully, she gives her quasi (they aren’t married yet) mother-in-law some of the profits and credit. If I remember correctly, she was the one who turned Brooke onto the belly wrap.

I heart that picture. That is so a mommy moment right there! My son did that when he was a baby. I was holding him up and he vomited…while my mouth was open. Gag!!!!!

Ok – that made me laugh out-loud!

Mom Said It

"I had to make a decision that I could sleep with every night. I did feel responsible for the young girls who I probably confused and let down. I apologize for that. But I wasn't trying to glamorize teen pregnancy."
