Summer Sanders and Erik Schlopy expecting second child — a son

Olympic swimmer (and former Skating with Celebrities host) Summer Sanders, 35, and her husband, Olympic skier Erik Schlopy, are expecting their second child, a son, on January 8th.

The baby boy will join big sister Skye Bella, 19 months, and Erik is hoping he doesn’t come early — he will be in Switzerland for a World Cup event on January 5th and 6th.

Skiing is all about timing, in more waysthan one. We timed it perfectly. Hopefully, he will hang on until I can get homeand be there for it.

‘Figure It Out’
