Country singer Paul Brandt announces wife is pregnant

Country singer Paul Brandt, 35, has announced that he and his wife Elizabeth Peterson are expecting their first child together.

We just announced today that we’re expecting. It’s rockin’ my world, and my friends say it’s going to change everything.

Although Paul loves kids, he knew that he wasn’t ready to be a father until now.

Back when I was working at the hospital, I would take care of up to five babies at a time. And I remember I loved that experience, but I knew I wasn’t ready. Now I feel like I’m more ready. In fact, I know I’m ready to jump off that cliff.

Liz is due the last week of May.
