Jennie Garth says early departure from DWTS is a blessing

Just in time for Thanksgiving, Jennie Garth was sent packing Tuesday from Dancing With The Stars — and the 35-year-old says that the timing couldn’t have been better.

It’s been a blessing to be part of the show and it’s now a blessing to go back and be with my family full-time. Being on the show has really made me realize my priorities in life.

Actually, I always knew what they were, and this experience has just reinforced the feeling that spending time with my family is the most important thing to me…I’m actually not torn up about (being voted off). I’m just happy to be able to be with my family.

Next up for Jennie, who is mom to three girls — Luca Bella, 10, Lola Ray, turning 5 next month, and Fiona Eve, 13-months — is, obviously, family time.  The former Beverly Hills 90210 star says she has no new acting projects on the horizon.  And although she recently said she’d love to add to her brood with husband Peter Facinelli, Jennie qualified the statement, blogging that a fourth child isn’t on the horizon just yet.

Speaking of family, I feel like I’ve been saying this a lot, but Peter and I would love to have another child some day, but before the rumors hit the Internet — we’re not working on that just yet!

I am glad that my feelings about her going home were right. She was going to be thankful to be able to be with Peter and the girls. Admire her and hope she and all the CBB readers have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!!!!!

It’s just a wonderful person who adore spend time with her family and her daughters.
It’s a great lesson for all Hollywood Stars.

Um…I think she’s taking it a wee bit too far. Fine, she loves to spend time with her family, all parents do, but it’s not like she was carted off five thousand miles away from her family and couldn’t see or speak with them. And DWTS wasn’t going to last forever, now was it. It’s just a bit all too bizarrely exaggerated.

I don’t think it’s exaggerated at all. Once she picked up doing the two dances, she was away from her kids a lot more than in the beginning of the season. Not to mention, at least since Fiona was born, she’s been with them pretty much 24/7 so even being away from them for a few hours EVERY single day was going to seem like a lot.

I’m sad she’s gone. I think she should’ve made it to the end, over someone else who should’ve already gone home, IMO. I don’t think I’ll be watching anymore, she was the reason I watched. M’glad she’s okay, and even happy, about being off. And glad she’s got more time with her babies. I love what a great Mom she is. You could so see that during all her interviews on the show and in listening to her girls talk when they were interviewed.

Daisy I agree with you, she is being a bit exaggrated, not exactly like she is a-list celebrity and her schedule is packed nonstop with one thing after anther lol. Dwts was almost done in a week anyway, but of course most people once their off say some lame excuse, like I’m glad I’m gone. Truth of the matter is, once you come that far and are so close, you honestly wanna win, and she was even crying a bit at the end. And I’m a jennie fan watched her on 90210, and voted for her every week on DWTS and honestly think she danced way better than marie, but yea she is being a bit too exaggerated IMO. Just sounds like something to say after you get knocked off the show, because you don’t know what else to say

Unless you know her personally, how can you say that she is exaggerating? Just because they film once a week doesn’t mean they don’t have to practice a lot during the week or are not tired during the week.

Of course you have to practice a lot, but it’s not a permanent thing and she knew that when she decided to do DWTS. But anyways considering she has no big projects lined up in the future, she now has all the time in the world to spend with her kids.

I feel bad for Jennie because if she was teamed up with any of the other dancers, I think she could of won. I felt that Derek’s choreography was not up to the expectation of the other dancers.
