Update: Chris Noth and girlfriend expecting a son

Update: The couple is expecting a son, and Tara is almost 8 months along — not about five — and is due on January 22nd.

Update November 16th: Chris’ rep has apparently confirmed the news, telling US Weekly in a statement that,

Chris and Tara are very happy and have always agreed to keep what is most personal in their lives private.

Originally posted 10:37 a.m.: Chris Noth and his girlfriend Tara Wilson are about to become parents, according to reports.  An unnamed source says Tara is "about five months along" with the couple’s first child.  Added Noel Ashman, a business partner of Chris — who is best known for his role as ‘Mr. Big’ on Sex and the City, as well as his stint as Mike Logan on Law and Order — the 53-year-old actor "is very happy."  The couple have reportedly been dating since 2003.

Whenever I see him I can’t stop picturing Sarah Jessica Parker and I’m not a Sex and the City fan, so I honestly don’t know why!

Anyway – I’m happy for him. I hope He’ll be a great dad.
