Designer and former model Kimora Lee Simmons, 32, spent yesterday at St. Vincent’s Hopsital in New York but not for a medical emergency. Kimora and her daughters Ming Lee, 7, and Aoki Lee, 5, visited with pediatric patients and also read stories to the children. Dad is Russell Simmons, 50.

The girls are so cute, and getting to be so big now. Kimora looks great all dressed down and not in her Miss Fabulosity mode. She should keep that look. Dare I say that maybe Djimon has had a good effect on her.

Well that’s a nice effort on her part, I have tried to watch her show but always change the channel because she doesn’t always come off as the nicest person. I suspect that she may be nicer than she likes to portray herself. It’s especially nice that she’s teaching her children that there’s much bigger problems in the world than your toenails don’t match your shoes.

I hope that boy in the hospital gets better. He looks sad. And ill. It’s heartwrenching. Especially jolting among all the pictures on this site of happy, healthy kids.

I hope she is nicer, than she comes across on her reality show, and her daughters seem to act like her on the show. They both look just like Russell IMO.
