David Hewlett shares thoughts on son Sebastian
Stargate: Atlantis actor David Hewlett, 39, shared thoughts on his son Sebastian ‘Baz’ Flynn on his blog. David and wife Jane Loughman welcomed their first child on October 6. David jokingly says that Baz is the best excuse in the world,
Baz is the best excuse in the world! I used to spill things on my t-shirts, leaving oily dark spots down the front that I would try to hide with loose-fitting dress shirts. Nowadays all I have to do is tell everyone my son did it. I skirt the "slob" moniker and instead look like a dedicated father who doesn’t even have time to change. Now, I need to get him his own computer because he’s killing my online time!
He also talks about the way he puts his son to sleep.
But he’s so cute! Baz is asleep and apparently I’m not allowed to wake him up just so I can heroically soothe him back to sleep again. Even though I’m convinced he’s loving my Leonard Cohen covers and the sudden revival of Chris de Burgh.
