Victoria Beckham on shopping for her boys

Although she’s a fashionista herself, being a mom to three boys — Brooklyn, 8 1/2, Romeo, 5, and Cruz, 2 1/2 — has turned Victoria Beckham into a hand-me-downer like many other parents. The Spice Girl, 33, told People,

I don’t buy expensive clothes — they grow out of them! Cruz is wearing clothes I bought for Brooklyn.

While I know it’s not true about buying expensive clothes in the first place, its cute to see Cruz wearing clothes I’ve seen on Brooklyn and Romeo.

I think Victorias comment is a little hypocritical about not buying kids designer clothes!(and not at all true in my opinion!!)

She clearly thinks nothing of spending thousands on individual items and never wearing them again. Kids prob have a much higher ratio of wear due to most of there clothes not being for dressy occasions!!

It also annoys me that when you watch shows like cribs they have these extravagent sitting rooms that probably dont get used, massive t.v’s in every rooom and bentleys and ferraris and such. But, most of the kids rooms are basic to say the least. Kids are not second rate citizens and i am proud of every little thing i manage to buy my girls.

This is my fist complaint of celebs on here and now i await your bashing!! lol

P.S. I dont necessarily condone designer kids clothes if you cant afford them there are plenty of reasonable priced kids clothes. I just dont see why its one set of principles for the adult and another for the kids!

Good for her! Even if I was rich I would still do hand-me-downs and shop for bargains. Kids grow way too fast, especially in the first few years.

I am sorry to say but I really do not believe anything that comes out of this woman’s mouth… this from a woman who spent over $20K+ on designer watches for sons’ Brooklyn and Romeo, as well as other “over-the-top, ultra-expensive- items… she wants so badly to be seen as a “normal mum”, which obviously she is soooo far from the every-day-normal!
