Gymnast moms on the Today show, Weekend Edition

1996′s gold-medal winning gymnastic team, The Magnificent 7, reunited this past Tuesday in Atlanta, GA, for a piece that aired on the Today show on Saturday morning. Kerri Strug, Dominique Dawes, Jaycie Phelps, Amy Chow, and Shannon Miller are all featured, while Amanda Borden shows off new daughter Kennedy Faith, and Dominique Moceanu talks a bit about her daughter-to-be.

Interesting story. I remember watching those Olympics and it’s interesting to learn what all those women are up to these days. It’s interesting too that Dominique Moceanu is now one of the tallest in the group. lol.

Is anyone else in the group also pregs or is it just Dominique?

wow its so cool to see them grown up all these yrs later. ive somewhat kept up with the happenings of dominique moceanu, but not so much everyone else. i figured amanda would have a baby herself. so congrats to her. and i had no idea jaycie married brett mcclure. how sweet for them. i cant believe its been over a decade since those olympics. it certainly feels like yesterday. it was this group of girls who got me interested in gymnastics all those yrs ago. and much like dominique, when i have a little girl, im definitely gonna put her in gymnastics as well lol!
