2007 Holiday Project Auction: Mustela
Mustela, skin care specialist for babies and mothers-to-be, is offering a special selection of products for baby and mom! The company, known for its products developed for the special skin care needs of newborns, babies and moms (both expectant and new moms), has been taking care of baby’s skin since 1950 and is the number one brand in European pharmacies.
Included in this auction package are five products, valued at $100:
- For baby, Mustela Hydra Bébé Body to keep baby’s body moisturized and Mustela Baby Shampoo, an ultra-gentle non-stinging formulation. For babies with very dry skin, Stelatopia Moisturizing Cream can be used daily on face and body.
- For the mom–to-be, Mustela 9 Months Stretch Marks Double Action, which can also be used postpartum, as well as Mustela Instant Comfort Legs to relax, refresh and hydrate legs.

This year’s project, A Month of Auctions, benefits the Newman Breastfeeding Clinic & Institute (NBCI) atthe Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, run by worldrenowned breastfeeding advocate and pediatrician Dr. Jack Newman. Theprimary function of the NBCI is to assist breastfeeding mothers andtheir babies with breastfeeding challenges. It also provides clinicaltraining for pediatric residents, medical students, nurses, andcandidates for those who intend to become International Board CertifiedLactation Consultants. As the NBCI no longer receives funding from theCanadian government, it is in danger of closing, having already reducedits hours. Even though the center is in Canada, their work and websiteis an amazing resource to all nursing mothers and those who wish tohelp them.
