Amanda Borden welcomes daughter Kennedy Faith

In better-late-than-never news, gymnast and Olympic gold medalist Amanda Borden, 30, and her husband Brad Cochran welcomed their first child on July 29th. Daughter Kennedy Faith arrived at 5:45 pm.

Amanda and Brad married in May 2006, and currently own the Gold Medal Gym in Tempe, AZ. Kennedy is the first Magnificent 7 baby — Dominique Moceanu is due with the second in early January.

Amanda and Dominique Dawes were always my favorite on that team. I’m happy to hear about her healthy baby girl.
