Jennifer Garner says she aims for 'balance' in approach to weight loss
Joking that her role on Broadway’s Cyrano de Bergerac has her on a "natural diet of being put into a corset every night," actress Jennifer Garner is undeniably in great shape. But the mom to 23-month-old Violet Anne acknowledges that her return to pre-baby form has been a slow, gradual process — especially in comparison to the fast weight loss of some other celebrity moms. Jennifer says that, for her, "the thing is to aim for balance."
At first I thought it would just happen…eventually, I just hit the treadmill.
Now that the stagehands of Broadway are on strike, production on Cyrano has been temporarily halted. Jennifer noted, however, that there is an upside to the downtime.
I get to put my daughter to bed…I really just hang out with her.
Violet is the first child for Jennifer and husband Ben Affleck.
