Kingston Rossdale makes an appearance at Gwen Stefani's concert

Last Saturday singer Gwen Stefani, 38, performed her last concert on her Sweet Escape tour. During the show she brought son Kingston James McGregor, 17 months, on stage to say hi to the audience and to have a little go at playing on the keyboard. Kingston wore sound proof headphones. Check out the adorable video!

It is so wonderful to see a celebrity that loves her baby soooo much!!!!!

All I can say is – poor little Kingston – the lights, the darkness, the noise, all the strange people, given to mummy, put on show & paraded around, then taken away from mummy – is this really a kind thing to do to a little one????

- angie on

I am not sure if kingston was happy about the whole thing. I don’t think it has anything to do with how much Gwen loves him. What really matters is how she is as a mum in privat.

I like Gwen but i really had enough with the baby exposure sometimes.
Don’t get me wrong. She really adores her boy more than anything, but i sometimes have hard time when a celebrity brings his/her kids to fashion shows and on stage etc. The kid is already so famous before he could choose to be.

When I was at Gwen’s concert in London in September, my friend and I were standing only a few feet away from Gavin & Kingston! I felt a bit paparazzi like but I just HAD to take a video of them:

Both father and son are bopping away to Mum! It was really cute and Gavin was really hot lol

I see nothing wrong with gwen bringing her baby on stage for a minute. Those are fans going to see her, and she seems so thrilled and smitten with her son, she just wants to show him off for a bit. Seriously with that cute face, who wouldn’t wanna show him off lol.

Angie, Naro and Kim, i disagree. Gwen just wants to show off her little bub! Shes one proud mama, and probably wanted her fans to see how cute her son is. Kingston is only 17 months, he probably doesent even know whats going on!

I saw Gwen twice this year, and didnt get a glimpse of the little cutie :(
Ah well, Gwen was super amazing, so i guess that made up for it ;)

I’m sure all the Gwen fans LOVED that she brought him out on stage. :D

Okay let me ask all the working mothers who disagree with what Gwen did. Do you ever take your baby to work to show him/her off once in awhile? Does you job allow you to spend most of your day with your children? The reason I ask is Gwen is a working mother who happens to be an entertainer. This is her job. She’s just taking her baby to work with her. Granted most normal moms have quieter jobs where it doesn’t require large crowds, lights, and noise but Kingston is used to this! He’s grown up in this environment since the day he came into this world! I am sure that he is used to lights (paparazzi take pics wherever they go) and the noise of people screaming at his mother. I see nothing wrong with it. Maybe Kingston didn’t seem happy bc it was late and he was probably tired (hense why she told him to say night night)! I think the video is cute and it just shows how devoted Gwen is.

I hope that now that the tour is over she and Gavin can get cooking on baby #2. I want to see more baby kingstons!

**btw on a side note many artist bring their children to all their shows. When I was at the Dixie Chicks concert I had side stage seats and all the chicks kids were sitting there with their headphones watching their mommy’s work the stage! These kids aren’t phased by any of this because it’s what they know. Michelle Branch and Sheryl Crow to name a few have all been photographed with their infants on or standing by the stage.

I dont know what the big deal is. He had on sound proof headphones! Very cute video! I saw it on Perez Hilton :)

- Nikki on

Seriously couldn’t she come up with something cuter than red sequined hot pants and tights, she is seriously more creative than that!!

As for Kingston, he is going to love seeing it when he is older!

- Ivey on

Aww, she is one proud mommy! That’s so cool. We probably won’t be hearing any “Mommy Dearest” stories from Kingston.

I read elsewhere that she’s pregnant again! Not sure if it’s true, but here’s the link: http://www.crazydaysandnights.net/2007/11/random-photos-part-one_07.html

- Charity on

So she brought her baby up stage, whats the big deal? The baby wore soundproof headphones. Some people just want to disagree with EVERYTHING!
The dark? all the strangers? whats wrong with the dark? kids sleep in dark!! and they see strangers all the time on the street, come on guys, you’re just trying to “find” something to be unhappy about.

If she doesn’t do it then she’s the mom who’s not proud of the baby. Kingston’s gonna love this video when he’s 21 and very proud of mommy.
