Jake Gyllenhaal, Reese Witherspoon have first public outing with the kids

The on-again, off-again relationship between actors Jake Gyllenhaal, 26, and Reese Witherspoon, 31, reached a milestone last night when the couple took Reese’s two children — 4-year-old Deacon and 8-year-old Ava — trick-or-treating together.  Ava, dressed as a witch, and Deacon, dressed as a superhero, weren’t the only two in costume; According to US, Jake dressed as a gorilla and was in the Halloween spirit, himself.

Jake ran up to Deacon with the gorilla mask and pretended to scare him.  Deacon laughed.

Ava and Deacon are Reese’s children with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe, 33.

Has anyone else noticed how happy she seems when she is with him, unlike when she and Ryan went out? I so so hope this couple are a forever duo!!! I bet her kids love him, and she is the kind of mom who would be careful introducing her kids to anyone who would be temporary.

There is something about Jake (that unlike Ryan) that makes Reese look crazy in love. It is so sweet to see these two together, I can never keep up with the on-and-off relationships. I hope they last. And thats just great how Jake dressed up with the kids on Halloween! Great post CBB!

I bet Jake is really nice to the kids and Reese. I wish them all luck in the futre including Ryan, he deserves to see his kids as much as Reese does. Reese,Ryan,Ava,Deacon,and Jake rock!
