I’m from Puerto Rico and in most latin countries the fathers’ last name comes first (in this case Nahum) and then the mothers’ last name (Spanic). We all have two last names, bust the fathers’ always comes first, doesn’t matter the sex.

in south america, we use both parents last names, so in this case the name of the baby is Katalina and Nahum Spanic are both last names (always dad’s last name first and then mom’s last name)

I see that the baby will have her last name, with dad’s as a middle name. Is that the tradition in Venezuela or is that a typo? Would it be switched if they were having a boy? I find it interesting how different cultures have different naming conventions.
