David Alan Grier and wife expecting first child — a daughter

Actor and comedian David Alan Grier, 52, and his wife, Christine Kim, have announced that they are expecting their first child — a baby girl — in February. Christine shares,

We’rereally excited. I have no morning sickness, no bizarre cravings. As far as David is telling me, unless he’s lying, I haven’t hadany crazy, hormonal mood swings. It’s been a pleasant pregnancy sofar.

We have narrowed it down to about four or five names, but we want to see what she feels like and what her personalityis to find a name that suits her. [We don't] want to have it all planned out.

Baby girl Grier will be born in Los Angeles, although the couple do plan to continue splitting their time between NYC as well. David and Christine tied the knot this past July.
