Fall Shopping Guide: TreBimbi: Jazz up the dinner table without licensed characters

Trebimbi_puppet

For a good while now, Anya has been feeding herself, and even lately, she insists on sitting in a chair on her own, not a highchair. We have a growing collection of Shrek sippy cups, Elmo bowls, Backyardigan plates, Zoe spoons, and recently it has been enhanced by the addition of tableware from TreBimbi, an Italian line.

We have the  Trebimbi Puppets Club 6-pc. Dining Set(pictured with different color combinations) which features abowl, mug and egg cup/condiment holder in addition to the cutlery setwhich connects via puppet arms, resembling a string of paper dolls. They also sell five cutlery sets, each connecting in fun ways such as brick-by-brick (thinkLegos), t-shirt, and puppet arms, and available in many colors.

I really like that all of their sets include a knife because even though Anya isunable to cut, she is learning to. Their knives’ dull edge is safe and teachesher how to use all of her cutlery, not just the baby set kids aretypically allowed to use. You’d be surprised- there are very few brands thatinclude a knife in the set.

Note: I am contributing to a fall shopping guide sponsored by JC Penney. While I am being paid to write for the shoppingguide, I have complete freedom to review what I wish. Since I just cameback fromthe ABC Kids Expo and learned about lots of great baby and kid stuff, Iam focusing on those lines. I hope you enjoy these reviews.
