Actress Candace Cameron, best known for her role as D.J. on Full House, is now the mother of three — Natasha, 9, Lev, 7, and Maksim, 5 — and doesn’t regret her decision to stay home with her kids instead of acting.
The way I was raised, family was always the most important. When I had our first daughter, Natasha, I knew that’s what I wanted to do. It wasn’t always easy at times, having grown up on television and being in the entertainment industry. But I’m so happy and thankful I made it a point be a stay-at-home mom and raise them through such important times in their life.
The 31-year-old and her husband, former NHL player Valeri Bure, make sure that everyone in their family stays fit and they do it together.
We work out together. We have fun with the kids. We all play tennis together, we ride bikes, we go on walks together. It’s really a family effort.
